The negative responses +Sarah Sharp has received from the developer community is truly sad.  I hope more people realize the childish attitudes they have and will work to change them.  The response from Linus alone reminds me of a spoiled person who let a little fame go to their head.  "I'm important so I can do and say what I want, it's who I am, don't suppress my rights to be who I am"  I often want to curse to peoples faces or call them stinky doo-doo heads in email, but I'm civil enough to refrain from trying to make that person feel bad for the sake of getting a power trip from making them feel bad.

If you were to take that attitude to random strangers on the street, you'd end up with a lot of trouble and maybe a couple of black eyes.

"Yo, gimme a hot dog, and do it fucking right this time. Your dumb shitty ass screwed up my order last time. How fucking hard is it to make a hot dog? Are you really that stupid?"

Good luck with that hot dog, I bet it has bits of broken glass in it.
